We are Liz, Spencer, S, T, and G Jones!
Liz and Spencer were born and raised in rural Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Liz went to college in Philadelphia, then lived in New York City, Romania, and Nigeria. Spencer went to college in Chicago. After marrying, we lived in Bellingham Washington for 2 years, and then Arlington, Virginia for almost 8 years. We’ve grown and changed so much through all of these experiences.
And we both love to travel!
With our firstborn (S) we visited 7 countries (Romania, Germany, France, England, Bolivia, and Mexico) before she was 3 and before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. With every trip we became more convinced we wanted to spend a longer season living internationally.
Adding two more girlies into the mix did not deter our travel ambitions, and as we emerged from the pandemic, we started planning more seriously for how we could make our dreams a reality… fast forward, and we now live in Medellín, Colombia!
Spencer is a software engineer for a US company, and Liz is a strategy healthcare consultant with her own LLC. We are grateful for the flexibility our jobs afford us! We love to cook and eat good food, explore new cities and cultures, bike (Spencer), and swim (Liz). We love Jesus and we love coffee (sometimes simultaneously). We love our family and pray we can all become better adventures and global citizens through our travels.
